01

About these terms and us

Turf Near Me is an online trading brand of TurfWorld Limited (“we”, “us” and “our”). TurfWorld Limited is registered in England and Wales under company number 05248568. Our registered and trading address is Pendeford Hall Farm, Pendeford Hall Lane, Coven, Wolverhampton, WV9 5BD. Our VAT number is 934 5936 92.

These terms apply to your use of turfnearme.co.uk and to orders placed through the website. Please read them before ordering. Nothing in these terms limits the legal rights available to you as a consumer.

02

Orders, prices and payment

  • Products, quantities, delivery or collection and the total payable are shown for review during checkout.
  • Prices and any applicable VAT are displayed on the website and confirmed before payment. Delivery charges are calculated for the products and postcode entered.
  • Submitting an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept the order and send confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, payment is not authorised, delivery is not reasonably possible or an obvious pricing error has occurred.
  • You must provide complete and accurate contact, billing, delivery and access information. Please check the order confirmation and tell us promptly if anything is incorrect.
03

Products, measurements and quantities

Natural products vary. Turf, soil, compost, bark, gravel and other landscaping materials may show reasonable differences in colour, texture, moisture, size and appearance from photographs or between batches.

Each Signature Turf roll covers approximately 1m². You are responsible for measuring the area and ordering enough material, including any allowance needed for shaping, trimming or wastage. Minimum quantities shown on the product or checkout page apply to delivery; separate collection rules may apply.

Product descriptions and coverage guidance are provided to help with selection but are not a substitute for assessing your individual site, ground conditions and project requirements.

04

Delivery

  • Available delivery dates are shown during checkout. Deliveries normally take place Tuesday to Friday; Saturday, Sunday and Monday delivery is unavailable.
  • Delivery may take place between 06:00 and 17:00. Any date or timing supplied is an estimate unless we expressly agree otherwise, and a specific arrival time cannot be guaranteed.
  • Delivery is kerbside using TurfWorld transport or a third-party pallet courier. You must tell us before delivery about narrow roads, height or weight limits, weak bridges, slopes, parked vehicles, soft or gravel surfaces and any other restriction.
  • The driver will choose a safe and lawful unloading point. Goods cannot be lifted over walls, fences or hedges. If safe access or unloading is not possible, goods may be left at the nearest suitable point or returned, and a further delivery charge may apply.
  • Please do not book installers or labour until the goods have arrived and been checked. We are not responsible for avoidable labour costs caused by booking work before delivery.

Click & Collect

Collection is from TurfWorld Limited, Pendeford Hall Farm, Pendeford Hall Lane, Coven, Wolverhampton, WV9 5BD during the opening times displayed on the website. Fresh turf requires 24 hours’ notice. Do not travel until we have confirmed that the order is ready.

You are responsible for using a suitable vehicle, safely loading and securing the goods, and complying with vehicle payload limits. Our team may refuse to load a vehicle where doing so would be unsafe.

06

Cancellations, changes and returns

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We will confirm what is possible based on the product and whether preparation, harvesting or dispatch has begun.

Fresh and perishable products

Fresh turf is liable to deteriorate rapidly and is harvested for confirmed orders. The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right that normally applies to distance sales does not apply to perishable goods. This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

For eligible non-perishable goods bought online, consumers normally have 14 days after receiving the goods to tell us they wish to cancel, followed by 14 days to return them. Unless the goods are faulty or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for return arrangements and costs. Returned goods must be kept in suitable condition, and a deduction may be made where handling has reduced their value.

07

Damage, shortages and faulty goods

Inspect the order as soon as reasonably possible. If anything appears damaged, missing, faulty or materially different from its description, contact us promptly with the order number, details and clear photographs where appropriate. For fresh turf, contacting us before it is laid helps us assess the issue accurately.

We may ask for reasonable evidence and may arrange inspection, collection, replacement, repair, a price reduction or refund as appropriate. Your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose are unaffected.

08

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses suffered by a consumer, or for problems caused by inaccurate information, unsafe access, unsuitable ground preparation, delayed installation, improper storage or care after delivery.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

09

Website use and intellectual property

You may use the website for lawful personal or business purchasing and information. You must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious material, interfere with operation, misuse another person’s account or reproduce our content for commercial purposes without permission.

Website content, branding, photographs, text and code belong to or are licensed to TurfWorld Limited and are protected by intellectual property law. Third-party links are provided for convenience and do not mean that we control or endorse the linked website.

10

Privacy, changes and governing law

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy and use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version displayed when your order is accepted will apply to that order. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers resident elsewhere in the UK retain any mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law.
