Prepare for kerbside delivery

Delivery guidelines

What to check before ordering and how to prepare a safe, accessible kerbside delivery point.

4 minute guide • Advice from Turf Near Me

What to check before ordering and how to prepare a safe, accessible kerbside delivery point.

Step01

Choose an available date

Delivery dates are shown during checkout and depend on your postcode, order and the most suitable transport method.

  • Deliveries take place Tuesday to Friday.
  • Saturday, Sunday and Monday delivery is unavailable.
  • Arrange labour only after the materials have arrived and been checked.
Step02

Tell us about restricted access

Add useful delivery notes and contact us before ordering if a large vehicle or pallet courier may struggle to reach the address.

  • Mention narrow roads, low bridges and weight restrictions.
  • Tell us about steep slopes, weak bridges and limited turning space.
  • Note parking restrictions, schools and times when access is often blocked.
Step03

Prepare a safe kerbside point

Orders are unloaded kerbside. The driver must be able to stop and unload without creating a hazard.

  • Pallet trucks require level, firm and hard ground.
  • They cannot travel over grass, gravel, soft soil or steep slopes.
  • Products cannot be lifted over fences, walls or hedges.
Step04

Be ready on delivery day

Delivery can take place between 06:00 and 17:00 and a specific arrival time cannot be guaranteed.

  • Keep the contact telephone number available.
  • Make sure the unloading point remains clear.
  • Move fresh turf to its laying area and install it promptly.
